I just sent this hat off to my grandma who lives in the midwest. The hat came out pretty heavy and I've been calling it my 5 pound hat. I think it will work best in cold places, it doesn't get that cold here in L.A. I combined 2 types of yarn for this hat, kinda by accident because I didn't want just a red hat... I wanted some color in it.
