Hat

When I first started to learn how to knit, the only request I got was to knit a hat. After a year I decided that it's about time I learn how... and I'm doing it without a pattern. It's probably not the best way to approach something like this, but I was told once you can just knit in the round on a circular needle and form a hat! My first attempt didn't quite work out and I got something like a square hat.

In my second attempt I thought I could just knit a flat piece and sew it up. I'm half way through this one and I can already tell that I casted on a few too many. It might become a mini wrap for a small person.



But my real goal is to knit something like this, and I'll call it Gwen.
